Facebook wanted to illustrate the importance of thinking before you post on social media. The campaign needed to be simple, strong and memorable, as well as cross language divides and physical borders. Covering Cameroon, Ethiopia and Tanzania, the illustration style was adapted for different regions and animated in a clear and fluent way to work on non-smart mobile phones with intermittent connections.
